A Tiger of the future?
Six-year old Thomas McCartney of Cotgrave Primary School has bagged a hole-in-one at the 151-yard 8th hole on Cotgrave Place's Masters Course. "I hit my driver and I knew I'd hit a good shot. I was really excited. My dad had to buy the drinks in the clubhouse afterwards!" The hole is one was the highlight of a sparkling 51 over nine holes. Let's hope Thomas sticks with the golf but at the moment he prefers cricket. "I like to watch Tiger Woods play. I like playing all sports but I really like cricket. I'd like to be an all-rounder like Andrew Flintoff."
