Resort

St Mellion in Cornwall has recently undergone a £20 m refurbishment and development of a new 4 star standard, 80 bedroom hotel. St Mellion International Resort is synonymous with high-class international tournament golf staging the Benson & Hedges International Open on the world famous Jack Nicklaus Signature Course 1990 to 1995.  Household names including Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal, Bernhard Langer & Paul Casey have all won around this famous course – described by Jack Nicklaus as “possibly the finest course in Europe” and more recently described by Today’s Golfer magazine as “the toughest course in England”.

St Mellion International is the perfect venue for golf & leisure breaks, priding itself on high service standards, fine dining and excellent facilities whilst maintaining its traditional values of a relaxed and welcoming resort.

Membership

The majority of our clubs are geared towards having a strong and cohesive membership. We pride ourselves on actively integrating new members with club stalwarts so that we build an engaged and atmospheric club.

Our clubs offer a range of membership products including traditional 7 & 5-day categories. In addition we are actively shaping the future of golf in the UK as we offer a range of Intermediate memberships to encourage the 19-29 age group.  We identify this population as the missing golfing generation and over time they will become the future of our golf clubs.

All clubs offer a range of member events, competitions, matches, leagues and knockouts. However, we recognise that the majority of member play is on a casual basis and we provide equal and fair access to all members including ladies and juniors.

Pay and Play

Our 9 Pay and Play venues are mainly based around London and the M25 motorway.

Whilst each of these clubs has a small element of membership their focus is on providing quality, accessible and affordable casually arranged golf. The outstanding Pay and Play venue is Pine Ridge Golf Centre in Frimley, Surrey. An 18 hole, 6,458 yards woodland course encompassing a Crown Golf Academy and floodlit driving range, 10 pin bowling alley, bar, restaurant and function rooms.

Each of the Pay and Play golf centres offers a loyalty card called Smart Card. This unique product affords a 12-day tee time bookings and significant discounts off green fee rates.
