New head chef 'plans to freshen up at Pine Ridge Golf Club'

Thursday, 10 December 2009

Pine Ridge Golf Club has welcomed a new head chef into the catering team whose passion is home-cooked food.

The Crown Golf course in Surrey has appointed Geoff de Vall and the new man announced his intention to shake things up at the venue.

Mr de Vall, who previously led a team at a private members club for 11 years, stressed that the old favourites will not disappear from the menu.

However, he claimed that the plan is to add a few new items each week at the Camberley-based facility, with fresh food prepared on the premises being a must for him.

"I am delighted to be joining Pine Ridge. I have a very strong and receptive catering team in place and we are working together to produce a fresh new selection of dishes," commented Mr de Vall.

The golf course in Surrey has been open since 1993 and boasts a par-72 course, with green fees starting at £15 for juniors.ADNFCR-2334-ID-19507018-ADNFCR
